This research explores links between academic and employer workforce agendas within Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and suggests ways of developing the Departments employer engagement policies. The work is a synthesis of views received from 38 interviews / discussions, 90 survey responses, and a variety of reports that seek to tease out facilitators, barriers, good practice and suggestions for the development in policy and practice.
