Over the last two years, Blaenau Gwent CBC, has set in place a number of cutting edge teaching and learning activities in its primary schools. The aim to raise the standards of achievement of children throughout the sector and to give them the best start and preparation for lifelong learning. In addition the Council has introduced several schemes to encourage parents and carers to play an active part in their children’s primary education.
