In this report we draw on the 1991 and 2001 Censuses to map the labour market circumstances of the ethnic minority population in the UK. We consider a range of key indicators: employment and unemployment, inactivity including that due to permanent sickness or disability, part-time working and qualifications. Each chapter of the report includes charts and tables of the labour market circumstances of different populations and a summary of findings for one indicator.
