This research was commissioned late in 2007 to provide research to provide robust data, at both a regional and sub-regional level, on which groups in Yorkshire and the Humber suffer discrimination or disadvantage in the workplace and the nature of this disadvantage or discrimination. Specifically, the research was designed to follow-up a programme of research conducted in the region in 2005/6, to investigate changes in the experience and perception of discrimination in the labour market since that baseline research.
