In preparing this response the WLGA has engaged in wide consultation with the directors of education via ADEW, the Principal Youth Officers Group (PYOG) and 14-19 Local Area Networks (LAN) Co-ordinators. The WLGA welcomes the opportunity to comment on the consultation document. The publication of the consultation comes at a time when there is considerable focus on the issues of young people not in education, employment or training.
