First Minister Carwyn Jones has welcomed the roll-out of the Welsh Assembly Government’s flagship Foundation Phase policy to all 5 and 6-year-olds across Wales.
This publication sets out the statutory requirements for teacher assessment for the school year 2010/11. At Key Stage 1, results are higher or the same for all subjects when compared to 2009, and higher by at least 2 percentage points for each subject than in 1999.
At Key Stage 2, the percentage of pupils achieving the expected level (level 4 or above) in Welsh Second Language was 35.4 per cent.
