Two new guidance documents which support the teaching of religious education at Key Stages 2 and 3 are now available. The documents ‘Religious education: Guidance for Key Stage 2 and 3’ and ‘Exemplifying learner profiles at Key Stages 2 and 3 in religious education: Additional guidance’ support the implementation of the exemplar framework by providing key messages for planning learning and teaching.
Young people in Wales can now broaden their cultural understanding and literacy skills by exploring the world of films through FILMCLUB, a scheme being supported through grant funding by the Welsh Assembly Government. All maintained primary and secondary schools in Wales are invited to join the free service.
