In October last year the Education Minister announced the establishment of an independent task and finish group to consider a long-term, whole system view of the education system and whether it is structured in the best way help learners perform to their potential. The group has looked at the performance of providers at all levels: schools, colleges, local authorities, regional and national organisations, including DCELLS.
