
The Model Complaints Policy and Guidance for public services in Wales has been developed by the Complaints Wales Group, chaired by the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales. The Policy should be viewed as non statutory guidance developed for those involved in dealing with public service complaints by their peers. The relevant counterpart guidance for schools is National Assembly for Wales Circular 03/2004 School Governing Bodies Complaints Procedures. This circular is being updated at the moment to take into account the Model Policy, and the updated version will be issued later in the year.
