Representatives from schools, local authorities and the post-16 sector heard what the new inspection framework means in practice at a launch event held during the summer. Ann Keane, HM Chief Inspector outlined the key features of the new-style inspections to delegates and emphasised the importance that will be placed on self-evaluation.
