
Welsh Assembly Government Ministers have made the following New Year Resolutions for the year ahead. Jane Hutt, Minister for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills: ‘To make sure that education is at the forefront of activities to tackle the economic pressures of 2009 in partnership with schools, colleges, universities and employers.

The Minister for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills has set intake targets for 2009-10: 775 places for primary courses (370 undergraduate and 405 postgraduate); and 1,100 places for secondary courses (115 undergrad and 985 postgrad).
