The Future Skills Wales (FSW) 2005 Sector Skills Survey is a survey of 6,719 employers, chosen randomly across Wales in 2005. As its name suggests, the survey focuses on technical and practical skills as well as generic skills.

These reports include information on:

• Employers' present and future needs for sector skills, together with attitudes
• Recruitment practices and difficulties
• Current and future supply of skills
• Barriers to participation in learning
• Mismatches between skills supply and demand, hard-to-fill vacancies, skill shortages and gaps
• Comparison with gaps and shortages in other UK nations
