The purpose of the Effective Education Conference is for educational practitioners in Wales to share and celebrate their practice. Delegates will be able to access a wide range of key note presentations and workshops that will explore effective learning and teaching which will enable them to build on and develop their practice.
The conference will provide a unique opportunity for practitioners from all phases and sectors of education to work together collaboratively to improve the learning outcomes and wellbeing of all learners in Wales.
Keynote speakers will include:
- Dr Art Costa - University of California
- Richard Parry Jones - Association of Directors of Education in Wales (ADEW)
- Dr Bill Maxwell - Chief Inspector of Estyn
- Professor Andrew Pollard - Teaching and Learning Research Programme (TLRP)
- John Griffiths - Deputy Minister for Skills
- Mike Clancy - Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS)
